Dr Chua, a graduate of National University of Singapore, received his Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery in 1990. During his undergraduate study, he served as vice-chairman of the freshmen orientation committee and dental society and he was a member of the NUS Students Union Council.


Upon his graduation, he joined a town practice where he was the Clinical Director. He managed the operations for the main dental office and its branches and introduced the CEREC (CAD-CAM) system.

He actively pursues continuing dental education provided locally and overseas. He has since obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) in 1996. The College is a postgraduate education body established primarily to improve the knowledge and skills of dental practitioners.

In his personal time, he serves as a volunteer officer to the NCC unit and member of the School Advisory Committee in his alma mater, Gan Eng Seng School. He has volunteered for medical-dental missions and has travelled to countries such as Thailand and Cambodia to render free dental services.

Dr Yeo is a skilled clinician with more than 20 years of experience since her graduation from National University of Singapore where she awarded the University Bronze Medal for her final year professional examinations in the Faculty of Dentistry.


After her departure from hospital practice at the University Hospital’s Dental Centre, Dr Yeo has remained active in private practice in the city centre. Her scope of work in general practice include aesthetic dentistry, children’s dentistry, periodontics, implant dentistry and endodontics. Popular with her child patients, she remains dedicated to giving her young patients an assuring and pleasant experience on the dentist’s chair each time they visit.

Root canal treatment being her special interest, Dr Yeo remains up to date and relevant in the field of endodontics by regularly attending workshops and conventions in this area. She is adept with the use of the surgical microscope in diagnosis and treatment of complex root canal situations.

Being a certified CEREC practitioner, Dr Yeo believes in giving her patients conservative yet aesthetic and durable restorations designed with the CAD-CAM restoration system in her practice.

Dr Yeo is a founding member of the Association of Women Doctors Singapore and remains a mentor for young dental undergraduates under the Faculty of Dentistry Alumni Mentorship Scheme. She is also an associate member of the Prosthodontic Society of Singapore and the Singapore Endodontic Society.

Dr Yap, who has been practising dentistry since 1985, is skilled in endodontics, restorative dentistry and aesthetic dentistry. She pursued her bachelor degree in NUS as a Public Service Commission scholar, and subsequently was a dental officer in Singapore General Hospital and National University Hospital.


Prior to entering private practice, Dr Yap dedicated herself to teaching at the Department of Restorative Dentistry in NUS. She also completed her Masters degree in Conservative Dentistry at University of London in 1988.

As an active volunteer for medical-dental missions, Dr Yap has travelled to places such as Cambodia and Vietnam to render free dental services to the underprivileged in orphanages and non-governmental organisations. She has also been serving as the secretary in the executive committee of the Association of Women Doctors (Singapore) since 2004.

Dr Neo graduated from University of Western Australia in 2000 and entered into private practice in the city centre upon her return. Dr Neo provides a full dental service practice in general dentistry, from cleanings and simple fillings to root canals and wisdom tooth surgery. She particularly enjoys implant, cosmetic dentistry and providing ongoing dental care for her young patients. Her gentle and caring manner has a calming effect on even the most nervous patients.


Dr Neo is a CEREC-certified practitioner in the use of CAD/CAM ceramic dental restoration and was awarded Postgraduate Certificate in The Principles of Implant Dentistry from The University of Warwick in 2010.

Currently, she is a member in the Association of Women Doctors (Singapore) and Aesthetic Dentistry Society Singapore. She believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered extensively in medical-dental missions to places such as Myanmar and China.

Dr Winston Woon

Dr Woon graduated from the University of Singapore in 1980 and then proceeded to serve the country as a dental officer during his days in national service.  Upon completion of his national duty, he entered private practice in the suburbs and later moved on to join a group practice in the city center.

Dr Winston Woon established his town practice with a large medical and dental group, serving as a Physician Leader within the group.

A friendly and popular dentist to his patients, Dr Winston Woon’s scope of work includes general dentistry such as scaling and polishing, restorations, crowns and uncomplicated root canal treatment. He displays a keen interest in providing a comfortable experience for his patients who require extractions and wisdom tooth surgery.  As a dedicated professional who believes in lifelong education, Dr Woon continually seeks to improve his skills and knowledge by attending talks and conferences.

Dr. Woon has the additional experience of providing dental services to prison inmates and has been an active volunteer in giving free dental treatment to the Vietnamese boat people refugees.

After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 1991, Dr Joyce Boudeville joined a dental practice in England as an Associate, before completing her Master of Periodontology at the same university in 1993. As a dental student, she helped establish the ASEAN Society in the University of Liverpool and was actively involved in organising activities and events for the benefit of the members.


Dr Joyce has been practicing general dentistry in Singapore since 1994, when she joined an established medical and dental group. She was entrusted with various posts, namely Physician Manager, Physician Leader and Supervisor to junior dentists, during her tenure with this group.

Her scope of work includes scaling and polishing, restorations, crowns, making of dentures and treating children. She aims to make dental visits comfortable and many of her patients, both young and old, who were initially scared and reluctant to visit the dentist, are more accepting and have become regulars. As Dr Joyce places strong emphasis on prevention, she always finds the time to provide her patients with all the relevant information. Young patients always look forward to visiting Dr Joyce for their dental appointments.

In addition to regularly reading up on the latest developments in dentistry, she also actively pursues continuing dental education by attending relevant courses and seminars.

Dr Joyce is a friendly and jovial person and her interests include amongst others cooking, baking, reading, origami, cross-stitching and football. A fan of the beautiful game, she supports Liverpool FC and the Singapore Lions and attends football matches both locally and overseas when time permits.

Dr Yang qualified from King’s College London, UK, having been awarded the A.H.R. Rowe Certificate of Merit for clinical excellence. During his undergraduate studies, he was recognised for his caring personality towards his patients and was commended twice on his professionalism by the Director of Education.


Upon earning his dentistry degree, Dr Yang was specially selected through a highly competitive national recruitment programme to receive further training in restorative dentistry at the Oxford Postgraduate Deanery for 1 year. Subsequently, he was appointed as an Honorary Hospital Practitioner at King’s College Hospital, London, where he became skilled at treating nervous patients requiring difficult tooth extractions and wisdom tooth surgery.

Most recently, Dr Yang was awarded the prestigious British Endodontic Society Prize for demonstrating excellence in root canal treatment. He is due to complete his Diploma for Membership into the Royal College of Surgeons England later this year. Dr Yang believes in continuing professional education to provide the latest treatment techniques to his patients and has attended numerous conferences in the United Kingdom and United States.

Passionate about dentistry, he takes great pride in his work and takes great satisfaction in helping his patients to achieve the smiles they want. He particularly enjoys treating children and believes a beautiful smile starts from a young age.

Dr Thean, a graduate of University of Melbourne, has always placed great emphasis on her patients’ care and comfort during their treatment. Her special interest in childrens’ dentistry makes her focus on maintaining a kind and gentle approach with her young patients at all times.


During her undergraduate years, Dr Thean was awarded the William J. Tuckfield Prize for her outstanding performance in restorative dentistry. A major accomplishment for her was being placed on the Dean’s List for High Achievement. Topping that accolade, one of Dr Thean’s research papers, submitted as an undergraduate, was selected to be published in the Australian Dental Journal.
Dr Thean gained her early years of experience in private practice, treating a broad spectrum of patients of all socio-economic backgrounds in rural Australia. She keeps up to date by pursuing continued educational programs such as the 35th Australian Dental Congress in Melbourne. Dr Thean hopes to make every experience for her patients, a positive one.
