Replace your Teeth

Replace your missing teeth

Losing a tooth can impact on one’s self confidence and affect your ability to eat. Implants, bridges and dentures are used to replace missing teeth. Your dentist will be able to inform you which is the best option for you.

Implants

An implant is a post which is placed into the gums to replace your missing tooth. Once healing has occurred around the post, an artificial tooth or crown is attached to it. Implants are durable and a long-lasting option for replacing missing teeth. Currently, their durability surpasses those of other tooth replacement options. An implant will feel and look like your natural tooth.

Bridges

A bridge is a false tooth anchored to the teeth on either side of the missing space. This requires strong supporting teeth on either side of the gap. These teeth will be prepared for a crown to support the false tooth in the missing space.

Dentures

A denture is a removable plastic device to replace missing teeth. It is an economical way of replacing several missing teeth but is the least durable and comfortable option for tooth replacement. Due to the covering of your soft tissues and palate from the plastic plate, your ability to taste food can be affected.Your dentist will be able to discuss your requirements and assess if you are suitable for dentures.
